Japanese lamp work glass jewelry

Cute and light weight earrings made with Osaka lamp work beads, fresh water pearls, and 14k gold filled earrings hooks.

 

During the lamp work glass firing, when the glass was still bright red and hot, I shaped it with a trowel to make a flat bead. Characterized by gentle curves and transparency, these go well with natural pearls.

​

14K gold-filled earring hooks which are less likely to cause metal allergies. 14K gold is plated with a thickness of about 100 times that of general gold plating. 

 

Earrings will come with silicone earring catches for comfort and to avoid loosing.​

Handicrafts:

Since these beads are handmade, the patterns and sizes are unique.  Most metal parts used are from Kiwa Seisakujo and Parts Club, major jewelry material suppliers in Japan.
