- Cotton Blue -
This blue color comes from a dark blue glass called "Luri".  It has been believed since ancient times that the color called "Luri" refers to one of the seven treasures of Buddhism, or the power stone lapis lazuli.

Reminiscent of lapis, the "strongest holy stone," the deep blue is one of the most expensive colors.
Melting this blue with milky white glass creates blue earth looking beads.  A shrine priest who purchases these beads told me that looking at this blue calm people down.
